Rush Hour Madness

Thinking of filing a class action for the day-to-day sardine experience at MRT? Not to mention the unbearable heat (and sometimes, ugh, smell), slashed bags, dead toenails, and the innumerable incidences of inappropriate touching-slash-frotteurism *ahem*.

Well, see this video and think again (We're still lucky, relatively.):

Sigh. Makes me wish I work/live in Singapore. Their trains are the coolest.

WTF! And I thought taking the MRT on a rush hour was hell...that is unbelievable. Can you still breathe in that jampacked coach? Where was that video taken?

ang nice naman ng mga guards, parang foam lang yung tinutulak nila kung makatulak sila eh? Hemingways, nice pa rin sila, at least hindi nila ni-spray paint yung mga tao.

Ok na work out yung ginagawa ng mga guards. Hehe.

Dropping by bro. :)

@wandering tsinelas: i think this was in Japan. What's more disconcerting is the fact that women are mixed with men.

@wanderingcommuter: i'd rather walk too, but then the sun's UV would give me skin cancer. i think that train ride's the lesser of two evils. =)

@wandering coldman: oo nga. lagi ka naman nagwawander. siguro American citizen ka na ngayon.

@cant_u_read: yep. pity the commuters. are the trains in Hong Kong like this?

@keitaro: naku, kung ni-spray paint nila yun, baka nagkaroon ng riot sa station.

@mugen: oo nga. upper body work-out. konting tadyak pa, pati quadriceps nila solve na. =)

thank god, they're not. in fact other expats say hong kong has the most efficient punblic transport system in the world.

That's just not right. I thought that Japan was progressive and had ample transportation.

That's just wrong, no wonder there are a lot of pervy things happening in Japanese trains...

You're right at least Filipinos know when not to pack themselves in trains.

But from what I know, which may not be true, Japanese trains run much longer distances than our trains.

So you found this video too. during my first days here in tokyo, I was really amazed at the number of people at the train stations. And when I saw just how the passengers gets packed inside the trains, parang ayokong sumakay. Pero no choice. I had to go to the office kaya nakisiksik at nakitulak na rin ako, ha ha. Ang galing nga ng mga taga tulak e. Dream job ko na to. Imagine you can push and shove people for a fee!

Scary. Take the bus of not in a hurry, then.
